Turns out some developers took a shortcut and downloaded Apples Xcode (the app used to develop IOS application) from untrusted sources and not directly from Apple. These hacked versions of Xcode then inserted malicious code into the applications they uploaded to Apples App store, if you have any of these apps installed you should get rid of them ASAP.

Good thing my phone is two generations behind. I don't have these newfangled things you kids today are calling "apps."

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
