can't connect/find/favorite tv6 and tv7

I see that TV6 and TV7 are back with players tonight, but some of us can't connect. This was mentioned in the shoutbox but I am posting it here to make sure it gets seen..

When joining someone already on, I get "server is not responding." Same if that person sends me a Join request. Same if I try to launch from a link on this site. Same if I try to re-add the IP to my favorites.

Maybe a DNS propagation issue? Rumple and I are near each other geographically but I don't know who else is having trouble or where they are located.

I'm NYC using:

Verizon
pool-108-46-238-109.nycmny.fios.verizon.net

After re-adding 6 and 7 to my favorites I was able to connect. From the shoutbox it seems many people are having the problem.

yes i've readded, but no luck. i deleted my faves, readded ip, nothin. they won't show up, when i try to join friend, says can't connect.....big bummer

I've found when it gets silly like this, reverifing TF2 files in steam usually solves the problem, but Ive never heard it affect so many players at the same time before.

One last thing to try would be to attempt using "connect tv6.theville.org" (or tv7) in your console, to see if it'll connect using the alias. Not sure what's causing the problem, but that can be tried.

I asked a few people who were having this problem to ping the server from the command prompt, and in each case their ping timed out.

Has this been reported to gameservers.com? I'm betting it's got something to do with their recent upgrade.

I haven't, but I wouldn't know how to go about reporting an issue if I'm not personally a customer..

tried this, get "failed after 4 tries" and verified files as well, still no luck.

How about if you use the IP:

connect 8.6.15.72
and
connect 8.6.15.154
