no steam ID

so i've checked my steam login info and entered it into my user panal here on the Ville and it doesn't load. It just shows "Not a valid Steam ID" under my avatar. What to do?

First thing is to make sure it includes the text on the beginning, for example "STEAM_0:1:40233767" instead of "40233767" or something.

Next, make sure there are no spaces entered, either before or after the number. "STEAM_0:1:40233767" is read differently from "STEAM_0:1:40233767 "

One of those two things is usually the problem, if I recall correctly.
