Multiple Monitors for Windows 7

Post by wyowapiti » Fri Apr 16, 2010 4:16 pm

I will start off by saying that I am not a smart man, Sorry bout that. Was wondering if I could set up a second monitor to view desktop while I am gaming. I have a 24 inch Viewsonic and a 19 Acer at my dispose. I run an EVGA 260. Was wondering if this was possible while using different resolutions. Where should I start, if anywhere. Sorry for the stupid question.

ya you can im pretty sure. im running multiple monitors with windows 7 but i have an ati card. i would assume nvidea can do it too just plug in the monitor and it should auto detect and either clone your main monitor or extend it and then you can just play around with the settings.

You can do it through the Nvidia Control Panel, you'll have to run your games in Windowed mode however.
