Spiffy new headset
It seems that the headset I am currently using is nearing its end as the sound is beginning to cut out of one side. Consequently, I am looking for a new headset with a mic.
Anyone have any suggestions considering I am not all too great at finding these myself?
Preferably low in cost, but not cheap quality

I have these, don't laugh I have been through a half dozen or so over the years and these have worked great and it's been well over a year. Sound quality isn't bad and either is the voice quality.
For the price you can't go wrong, even if you don't like them.

I was using Sennheiser. Had great sound for both gaming and music. Mic was also pretty good and no issues. Mine broke though while moving so now I just use DJ headphones with no mic.

I use these ones:
Cyber Acoustic @ Amazon
I've had them for almost 3 years now and they still work without complaint.

I was going to comment on this topic, and post that link but you, Jd, beat me to it. I have that very same headset and I haven't had a problem either...John Doe wrote:I have this gaming headset from Creative Labs.

Only that the mic jack accidentally pops out once in a while.

I just recently got this one.

Mic is clear compared to my old Logitech behind the ear headset that I got free. It has standard mini jacks with a usb adapter. I just use the jacks.

lol thats the same open mic and speaker system I have. As for the headset's the one JD posted is pretty good. Suppose to be a decent bang for the buck.
