I find that bizarre in the extreme, I've never run into a PATA controller that wouldnt run unless it had 2 drives connected to it. Like Ali said, I've always found it to be a jumper issue that caused it to stop working.Clay Pigeon wrote:I'm pretty sure. The drive I wanted to keep was set to master.
