not quite sure what you mean. is it that it is looking to startup on cd only?
you can set the bios to not have cd boot up. or did the cd in there have the bootup files on it?
go into bios and set your bootup to HDD and not cd.
any other info would be helpful

if you want to change the boot order, or have the pc not boot up on cd enter the bios by selecting the delete key during bootup.
It depends on what kind of pc you have. It might be F1 or F5. See if it tells how to enter your bios when you fist start it up. Sometimes it says what key to use on the first screen you see.
Step 2-when you get in find the boot order. from here you should be able to find and set the order. Then save and exit.

what bios screen comes up?
different bios require different keys to enter them.
worse comes to worse, review your motherboard's manual. They usually have a bios section in the manual that should help you.

open your case and take a photo of the motherboard.
upload it and we might be able to tell what it is so we can better help you.
