My home computer with Win7 x64 I keep lower, something around 30 I believe. My previous computer, using Win2K Pro, I kept limited to around 17.

I could whittle it down to about 13 by killing Firefox, Avira Anti-virus, the nVidia configuration software and a few others.
I think I might be able to reach 12 by stopping a few services and maybe 10 with a little work changing the order that services start.

Hmm... I might even be able to get XP to idle within 64MB!
