CPU Type DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2 Black Edition, Brisbane 2600 MHz (13 x 200) 5000+

I guess what clay said

Amd processors haven't had FSB's since the athlon64 was released. Since he has a brisbane x2 I'm going to guess that he has a 2GHz hypertransport uncore. I could be wrong, but I think that is what they had in terms of a "bus."

I did a little more digging, and the HT link speeds for windsor and brisbane x2's appears to range from 800MHz to 1000Mhz.

Yeah, so a 1000Mhz HyperTransport.

Also just pointing it out, ATi Shaders =/= Nvidia Shaders. The best way to get a rough comparison is to take the ATi amount and divide by 5. ATi and Nvidia both market their shaders differently which only leads to a confusion s!@#storm.

Don't be surprised if the card climbs to like 85C. The 4xx0 series from ATi is known to do that, it's perfectly normal.

A 4870 won't drop below 60fps in L4D no matter the setting (well, unless it's like 2560x1600 and 16QxAA).

Seems I'm a little late to the party. I had a graphics card do this and I added an aftermarket fan and heatsink and got a few more years out of the card. It's currently sitting next to my TV. I don't know if I want to scrap it or keep it around for fond memories.
