Nvidia released the GTX295 this week. It is a dual-processor video card, like the 9800gx2 and the 4870x2. It either matches or beats the 4870x2 in most benchmarks, and takes back the performance crown in the 500 dollar market segment.

Nvidia takes back the top-end
"No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power tyrants and dictators cannot stand." - The prophet G'Kar
It's about time anyways, only took them 6 months. Before people splooge on these I'd like to point out that the GT212 (a newer highend) will be releasing in about 3 months that won't be plagued with the issues dual chipped GPUs have (mainly microstuttering). Although if you don't have a SLI capable board and you WANT to spend $500 on a video card this will be your best bet for the next year or so.
Although I will say the performance of 2 x 295s is something to behold. 76fps Crysis maxed out with 4xAA in 1920x1200.
