I was thinking of getting a new TV myself, I bought a rear projection DLP back when it was 2500-3K /SADFACE IN HD
I'm both dreading and looking forward to the day the bulb blows so I can get a new TV.
My speakers are a full set of these minus the sub (I live in an apartment) http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_9 ... -2002.html

Re: HDTV and Plasma
thank you reipin! i don't think i'm gonna hurry the break in time by using one of those discs, just gonna be careful and let it break in on normal watching time. so far got about just about have 30 hours of viewing time right now.
Did the dvd color correction that was recommended by muuj. and also been running Narnia (Lion, Witch and Wardrobe) for some extra break in while i'm playing online. so far so good!
