wtf? I still dont get it

so i tried synergy today on the ville server... didn't understand the gameplay(I have now read about it) so i am driving a car around and someone puts up a thing to kick and ban me... people voted me off and I am banned from your server. i dont think i'll ever play it again but. how do people have that much power to kick and ban? none of the names on the server looked familiar

It's a feature the mod developers added recently. I found out how to disable voting, so this shouldn't happen again. Let us know if you have any more trouble.
