Oh, also at Slots of Fun - you can get 2.00 screwdrivers, and it isnt real oj, so it doesn't upset your timmy - it is orange drink with tons of vodka....that at crispy cremes at 4.30 am after drinking for 20 hours = priceless. I miss Vegas....only been there.....i dunno 8 times. heheeeeh

I don't really like the hustle bustle of the Palms, Hard Rock, MGM, etc. I prefer Riveria, Circus Circus (cue Fear and Loathing "How much do they pay you to **** that bear?") and Slots of Fun.

i learned a new trick u should try, go up to a bar in the casino and order a drink after you start playing video poker. It should then be free!!

if it works at your casino, then order a more expensive drink, all will be free while you play. i did this with patron platinum ($120 per shot) , while i won $80 at video poker. works for me at the palms, rio, NYNY, orleans and Wynn. just tip super fat if you want to do it again

most places if you go the penny slots even drinks are on the house if you can flag down a cocktail waitress!! i spent many a night...err day?..whatever.... doing that!!!


oh and you dont HAVE to tip the waitress... but if you want more drinks you should giver her a buck!!!

Time for the Vegas Etiquette Recap

This town lives on tips. People do notice if you don't tip. Anyone from the cabbie, the doorman, the bellman, housekeeping and especially cocktail waitresses and bartenders will notice. They will treat you differently if you don't tip. The cocktail waitress will conviently miss your area.

Most So Cal females usually overdress to walk the strip. The locals usually make fun of them. High heel shoes and long distance walking is free entertainment.

Don't EVER fall for the "Free Show Tickets" junk. It's not worth the four hour sales presentation to see a show. Pay the $80 instead. Avoid Tahiti Village like the plague.

thanks guys, i'll take the drive slow and safe.

i am teh super tipper, never less than $5 for anything, especially if i work the tables and get up on them a bit. it only runs me $200-$300 fer the stay and I get uber'd from most people i hook up, fatter shots, better service and everyone is smilin' and laughin the whole time, totally worth it. especially since u can lose that much in 5 min at the $5 "WHEEL OF FORTUNE"

Another day when I have time I will post my 41 hour drinking/betting binge with my friends when we went to a wedding in Vegas....put it this way, we saw the same bartender at Slots of Fun for 3 different shifts, and we hadn't left yet.
