Car Advice

Post by Raptor » Mon Nov 27, 2006 6:47 pm

Ok so here is the deal, I was going to get a car in June 07, most probably a used Infiniti G35 coupe, but a friend of a friend of ours has an 04 G35 Coupe and wants to get out of the lease (I will be taking over the lease) simply to get a G35 4-door sedan. Here are some details:
Infiniti G35 Coupe
Silver
2004
20,000 miles
I was told it was filled with options (girl doesnt know exactly whats in her car) as well as an aero package (my guess from the way she described it) which would cause me to think it also has a sport package (19 inch wheels, aluminum pedals, suspension changed and stuff like that) due to the fact that you need the sport package to have the aero package.
Car is in excellent condition.
Buy out for $25,000 (most probably what im gonna do)

Does anyone know if this is a good deal and I should go for it? Any info would be helpful, thanks guys and gals. :onfire:

kbb.com

According to KBB.com in my area the car is worth $27,975 with the standard package. Now with the extra features you have mentioned it raises the cost of the car which can be almost another 1,500 dollars.

Now you have a car in excellent condition plus the mileage which is a steal for 26,000 it's definately worth it, and you should buy that thing ASAP

Does it come with the girl? now thats a deal...

don't forget to get a carfax report just in case it has been wrecked. you never know.

Craigslist in San Diego cant touch it. although there are some relatively close ones.
Why, I ask you

Yeah, I checked ebay and Craigslist and autotrader and whatnot and I couldn't find a deal that would match it though as you said some came close but they usually have more mileage and the thing is I know their is nothing wrong with the car as it belongs to a friend who simply wants to get out of the lease to get the same car in a 4 door sedan. I also have decided to get it and am now hoping everything goes through smoothly, as a test drove it yesterday ( a friend of mine in college has one) and let's just say its a blast to drive and I cant wait till I actually own one.

Or perhaps a nice camel? They arent as fast as horses but i hear you get more miles per tank. So really its up to you.

Silly Canadians! Trix are for kids!

(Couldn't think of something funny enough about horses or camels to fit that, except Silly Canadians! Camels are for terrorists! but i was afraid I would offend someone [though i am an arab and whatnot])
