what is mtn High? is it taller than 13,000 feet? the mountains in Colorado have base camps perse of 9,000 ft. and peaks on over 12,000 feet, the ones for snowboarding and skiiing that is.

If you go to A-Basin you can ski on the 4th of July :P and yeah... all the good ski resorts in Colorado have higher bases than pretty much all the peaks everywhere else, except probably Alaska, the mountain ranges everywhere else in the US arent tall enough lol.

Those videos are increasing my snowboarding fever that has been growing since a few weeks ago. I can't wait to go this year. I'm from Washington and we don't have any places near as big as the ones you guys are talking about. Most of the places around here have a peak elevation of about 6,000ft. Still, I'm just happy to get out. I'm praying for someplace close to open during Thanksgiving break so i can get out asap.
