I used to live in Durango, and work at (what was) Purgatory. Then I came back here.

If you go to A-Basin you can ski on the 4th of July
and yeah... all the good ski resorts in Colorado have higher bases than pretty much all the peaks everywhere else, except probably Alaska, the mountain ranges everywhere else in the US arent tall enough lol.

The hugest boad park Ive seen besides Mammoth's

The base was like 16 foot

The Imperial Lift 13,800 something feet. (The little black square-ish looking thing in the middle of the peak) Pretty much all the snow in this picture is accessable

Re: First snow of the season
Those videos are increasing my snowboarding fever that has been growing since a few weeks ago. I can't wait to go this year. I'm from Washington and we don't have any places near as big as the ones you guys are talking about. Most of the places around here have a peak elevation of about 6,000ft. Still, I'm just happy to get out. I'm praying for someplace close to open during Thanksgiving break so i can get out asap.
Re: First snow of the season
