Guess I'll go ahead and step out of the shadows as well. I'm a 21 year-old college student from northern Ohio. Been playin' under various aliases on the Ville since tf2 was released, and apparently I've spent a day and a half of my life here just since January first (oh man). Finally recently got a mic (necessitated by l4d) so now y'all get to hear my monotone harassment of the other ONUers. I love the servers and playin' with the great regulars; the skill level here is incredible which makes the game 100x more fun.

I normally don't do these things, but since I'm supposed to be working, I like to find things to distract me.
I'm an old guy (30) who lives in the Chicago suburbs and works as a lead application developer for a company out this way. Moved here from Minnesota 5 1/2 years ago and haven't done much gaming the last few years, but I've been a gamer most of my life.
Bought every console growing up (yes, even virtual boy) until I found online gaming at 16. My favorite games were rpg, but I was well known at the game store and rented and beat 4 games at a time growing up. Once online, I played primarily Warcraft II for the next 5 years on Kali in Katan's as @Shaman if by chance anyone here also played. Played quite a bit of CS for a year or two after it came out. Tried out the MMORPG world with DAOC as Palance on Bedevere for about 2 years. I played a lot of other games in the middle, but none for more than a few weeks or months. I built a new computer for Warcraft III, thinking it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread, but was greatly disappointed. Only played it for a few months and haven't touched it since.
Was back in MN over the holidays and some buddies and I got together and all decided to buy the orange box and do some gaming. Got back from the holidays after the New Year and a friend of mine from work (Muffins) told me about the Ville. So I loaded up TF2 and had a blast. I die a lot, but that's because I often find myself alone behind enemy lines. But with fast respawns, who's afraid to die? =). The wife hasn't been too happy with the amount of time I've spent playing, so I'll probably dial it back a bit, but plan on sticking around for a while. Hope to have many more great games on the ville!
If anyone's made it this far, I'm impressed with your patience, as I would have stopped reading as soon as I realized it was more than 3 sentences =).
Oh and Warcraft II is still the best game ever created, =).
