At least by episode 3 they stop coloring the suits in flesh tones.

Admittedly I only have hearsay as data points, but apparently the /a/ board has collectively decided that the adaptation of Sword Art Online isn't very good.
r/anime is still mostly fangasming on it, but there are definitely some grumbles about the pacing and extreme compression (compared to Sakamichi no Apollon, this seems to be worse).

I can't remember an anime, that was been based on a manga, the original manga fans liked.Flaming Cheese Wheel wrote:Admittedly I only have hearsay as data points, but apparently the /a/ board has collectively decided that the adaptation of Sword Art Online isn't very good.
But that's okay, I rarely read manga.

Well, I got around to watching the 3rd episode of Sword Art Online.
I feel like I keep missing an episode each time I watch it. All the cuts get really disorienting.
I have to assume they'll eventually stop because all these cuts for 22 more episodes would be horrible.

I'd read that the main story in the LNs settles down around Level 74/75, and right now all the show is doing is working around the side stories.
The problem is that working the side stories in the way that they are is really messing up any sort of coherent characterization for Kirito.

Amen to that, it's really hard to tell WTF he's doing every time, and it took several minutes into ep3 to realize there wasn't much fallout over ep2.

Well, I always wanted to watch .hack//sign but never could.
This seems to be the closest thing to it so I'll keep watching it.

I just started watching a couple of shows to kill time:
Kokoro Connect: currently airing slice-of-life with body-swapping.
Mirai Nikki: finished show from late 2011-early 2012, survivor crossed with death note. Sprinkle liberally with psychopaths.

If you thought Strike Witches's gender flipping was crazy... we give you Oda Nobuna no Yabou.

Kokoro Connect is pretty entertaining.......I wish it had a plot though.

"A shooting star doesn't have a past. It burns like a flame and then is gone before your eyes. That's my kind of life."
