[quote="MrBlah";p="218908"]I bet an iPhone will stop working when you drop it/ let it fall in water.
My phone still works after 3 years. But I also don't drop it in water, or drop it at all for that matter

I drop my iphone all the time and it's fine, you just invest in a case. No water is pretty common sense though.

The Droid does support multi-touch. The built-in browser just doesn't allow it.
There's an app browser you can download for free on the Android market called Dolphin that allows you to zoom in and out by pinching exactly as the iPhone.

I used to think the old way right?
Phones are meant to call on, nothing else.
Until you realize that people hate it when you call them in class, so texts are better. I can also look at my phone to see if I did receive a text and just quietly leave it until I am not busy anymore. I missed tons of calls because I was not available at the time and people can't be bothered to leave a voicemail. Also from anecdotal evidence, if you are talking on the phone on public transit, make it brief. I remember a long train ride I had to make and there was a girl that talked to a buddy of her's for 30 minutes. I spent 30 minutes listening to the butchering of the english language with OMG, TOTALLY!11!, LIKE, LIKE, etc.. I wish my phone had a duct tape app to stop it. At least with texts they keep to themselves and all I hear are some clicking noises.
I got an Iphone, which to me is great because I get to check my ETFs on the fly and read up on current events when I need to. I learned about the Haiti earthquake through my phone.
Netbooks? LOL, try to get a netbook up and running while standing on a crowded bus. Netbooks are not replacing phones, they are replacing laptops. Laptops are on their way out with netbooks.
