Re: Explain your username/tag/handle
I started using Mortis or if that was taken Mortis462 around 98~99. Mortis is the name of Death's horse in the Piers Anthony series Incarnations of Immortality. Still my all time fave series of book. The 462 comes from the Tool song 46&2. I also go by Tchorta on various sites, that's a Russian word for devil or demon.

I'm continually surprised at the number of people who don't actually know where my name is from. Look no further than the first appearance of a Buzzy Beetle ever:

I always thought the concept of these little guys so amusing... They are, essentially, indestructible (I do not subscribe to the idea of the bottomless pit, I am certain that they end somewhere and that the fall would not kill a Buzzy Beetle, but be incredibly inconvenient). They're simply my favourite little critter in the mario universe (second in overal Mario Universe entity to Luigi), so when I changed screen names again to go into my previous community (mario fan art based!) I picked a fitting name. I've since stuck with it.
Also, as a piece of bonus trivia, I have named my computer Buster Beetle.

Re: Explain your username/tag/handle
My name's an inside joke from my old MtG group. Basically whenever something ridiculous/awesome happened that person was given an imaginary reward of a random object. Biscuits for some reason were the most common item "rewarded" and from there various other types of random biscuits were given out since then. So, when I needed a username for Neverwinter Nights, my friends suggested that one because it's the first thing that came to mind and we just finished a few rounds of MtG, but I liked it and the rest is history.
Besides, it's hilarious when you get killed by a baked good.

Re: Explain your username/tag/handle
I feel like we've done this thread before. Oh well, what's the harm in doing it again?
My first real foray into the world of the intertubes was about 5 years ago when, as a bright eyed and bushy tailed young Invader Zim fanatic, a related search had me come across a forum belonging to a team of people attempting to bring Zim back from the dead. They planned to do this not by whinging and organising mass signings of "BRING BACK INVADER ZIM!!!!11" internet petitions, but by actually producing the show themselves in Flash. "That sounds awesome!", I thought, "I want in on this!"
So I joined up to the site. And because, at the time, Invader Zim was my life, my everything, I wanted to have an Invader Zim related name. So I picked the name belonging to a particular, one shot character from a scene in one episode where Zim decides to spy on the other invaders. He tells the telescope to locate Invader Flobee. We then witness a brief shot of an invader sitting atop a throne, wearing a bunch of rocks tied to his body. Apparently this was enough to fool and win over the rock-people inhabitants of whatever nameless planet he's on, as he is being worshipped by them.

Zim comments "Flobee seems to be doing all right!", and moves on to spy on other invaders. Flobee is never seen or mentioned in any episode ever again.
So yeah, I went with that name. It was eventually shortened to just Flobee, and it's been my internet nickname ever since. A few of my real life friends have told me it suits me, somehow, and have even gone so far as calling me Flobee in person on a couple of occasions. I don't know. But there you go!
Oh, and if you're wondering, the "Invader Zim Fan Animated Series" project failed. One short test episode was produced after like 2 years of getting our act together. It was horrible.
On the very bright side, it introduced me to a lot of great, new online friendships, almost all of which are still going strong to this day. So that's awesome.
Fun fact: Buzzy Beetle is one of those aforementioned friendships. Hi Buzzy! We're friends! And have been for over 4 years now!

Since I was having trouble coming up with a good name for this mmo I was playing a while ago, I figured, well, I have no idea, and thena ll of the sudden blah blah blah blah blah popped into my head. So I chose that. I think.
I really have no idea how I chose it. But I think the lack of a good imaginative brain toward words did the trick.

Around 1999 I jumped into PC gaming with the Raindow Six series using the MSN Gaming Zone. The tag I started out with was "Plasma Leach" which was commonly shortened to Plasma or Plas in text chat.

When I first started playing DoD:S, I was very capricious with my name, changing it randomly about every week or so. After a while I started frequenting a server and the regulars got to know my by the name I had at the time, Kilgore Trout. The name comes from a character in a Vonnegut book called from Slaughterhouse Five, which I was reading at the time. After I became part of the community the name stuck and I stopped changing it.
My current name, Stick Figure, was ordained unto me by Jim Beam. I never got around to changing it back. It also references my avatar and the fact that I am hideously skinny.
In almost everything else I go by attilathefun, a stupid pun that amuses me greatly.

One of my original online names was Quick_Strike. I still use it for some of my log on names on other sites. I think it was the name of a Transformer.
When I discovered the Ville back in 2003 my good friend was over at my house and we were enjoying a long night of Halo on Xbox and eventually dod on the computer. After buring playing Halo we decided to use Halo names in dod. Since I was more awesome I took the name [HALO]MasterChief and he took the name [HALO]Cpt. Keyes.
Then everynow and then in the years to come I noticed people calling me Master Chef instead of Master Chief. I thought it was funny and eventually changed it.

Oh boy mine is dumb. I made it when I was 15. I just got Quake 3 and it asked me for my online name. I was like "ok my name will be 'bullet' " How original huh? and then I was like "hmmm maybe I should put something on the end." I overheard a 401k commercial and the rest was history. The name just stuck and I never changed it throughout the years.
I do have another name when I played City of Heroes. It was "l33t0n3".
Although I am contemplating a change now. Should I throw up a poll? haha
I'm thinking of changing to "3v0"

When i got into DOD in 2001 i shoveled everyone, omgshovelyouinthebutt?
When i started playing here on TheVille again in the TF2 era i wanted something more original, that made no sense. BETTEH CROCKHURR.

Tribes crowd i play with HomeLAN on HA/HF servers with ZT, DOD i played alot of competitive against Ten yard ( Tenyard
) and those guys who ran off to start handicapped. I was on an array of teams actually for CAL / STA / TPG

My name comes from a character in a Cheech and Chong movie and relates to an extra body part which I feel would be important if I were to be shot at.
I also sometimes game under the name GeneralTsao in which I usually use as avatar a picture of a Chinese mailman that overthrew a dynasty.
