Is it possible to join only standard rules servers?

It seems like half the time that I join a lobby or game hosted by someone else, I end up on a server with some form of funky rule modification (health packs replaced by pills, extra damage, etc).

I know that if I am hosting the game, I can specify only "official dedicated" servers, or even use sv_search_key theville to make sure I end up on a ville server.

However, when joining a lobby or game hosted by someone else, the only way I can see of making sure that there are no wierd and wonderful rule changes is to join the game, then quit if it's not set to "official dedicated" server.

Anyone know a way, without actually joining a game, to filter out those games or lobbies not running standard rules or not on an official server?

Well all our 4 L4D servers are untainted with any modifications at all.

When I play with non-Villun friends, I always ask the lobby leader to use sv_search_key theville. Rarely do people object because we get excellent latency here in California.

I know how to get to an untainted server as long as I'm hosting it or I have some influence over the host; either use an official dedicated server or use sv_search_key theville.

The problem is when playing a random game, the only way I can filter out modded games is by joining the game, then quitting when I find out it's modded. I can filter both difficulty and map before searching for games, but not modded servers.

I guess maybe I'm doomed to host every game I play, or constantly pester the lobby host to change the settings...
