It also illustrates a wider point about fighting demos -- you've got to charge demos, backpedal = die.Crusty Juggler wrote:Don't forget the whole "last round of dustbowl particularly" part y'all. That was why I harped on BLU Engie play in my first post.F13ND wrote:I've noticed that whenever the other team has a medic consistently using Kritzkreig, particularly on that last round of dustbowl as Red, I can never effectively counter it as heavy.
I totally concur with the get in their face part about the Kritz. You gotta jump in that Demo's face, and don't backpedal. This also illustrates a wider point about the Kritz; it will make players attack you as opposed to the Uber, which makes people run away.

Yes, charge right into my pipes, muahahaha.
Actually it's true though, demos are best at medium range. Nothing worse than a dang scout getting in close.

Domer is ez scout pickins
Re: Playing against kritz
I'd like to point out that doing this against a kritz'ed Heavy is asking to die. Even an overhealed Heavy will die to a Kritz heavy in seconds. The Domer wrote:Get right into the face of whomever is kritzing. Seriously. Everyone expects you to run, and when you do, you get mowed down. Instead, just get in their face and focus damage.
Re: Playing against kritz
not as scout! I love getting right on a krit heavy and seeing if he will waste time trying to hit me!

Heh, if you can get up that close, you ought to be shooting the Medic, if you ask me!

Bumrush and attempt to kill or scare the medic.
You'll die, but at least you can feel proud of doing that

As a Spy, run towards the patient with your Dead Ringer out and keep absorbing the shots until the effect wears out or you die.
