Correct me if I'm wrong

But someone once told me that custom skins and models slows the game down. I was thinking about possibly changing them from the defaults, but not sure if I wanted my "game" hindered.

It all depends on the size of the files. You can check the properties of the skins/models and depending on how big they are, it's not super difficult to tell. For the most part you should never see much of a difference in game play unless you install a skin/model that for some reason happens to be huge. Otherwise the game just loads it the same as always.

I would agree w/Hault. Unless the file is huge or corrupt, it should load and work just fine. One thing I wanna warn you about....When you change map mpdels like tanks/sandbags/statues, etc....The hit boxes may not line up with your new model as perfectly as they should. You might end up with an invisble "wall" sticking out at the corner or something. I hope that made sense lol
