If people are deathmatching instead of caps, here's a thought, what if the zombies become stronger either based on how many caps they control, or how long it takes to cap one of their locations. This way, if people don't work to cap, the zombies will eventually overwhelm and destroy the players, adding to the challenge. If you do a time-based strength increase, perhaps make it so a cap resets the zombie strengths to their original settings.

By strength increase, i'm thinking along the lines of maybe a slight health/speed boost for each respawn or something. It wouldn't be noticible on the first respawn, but maybe after 10 or 15 it would be pretty clear.

Don't think this will stop the Deathmatching. You can't force people to cooperate by using reason unfortunately. As much as I hate it I think COOP is dead. It just never caught on big for some reason. I have said this before it was a very welcome change to play COOP instead of the utter chaos of the other servers. If you do bring COOP back I would put the change Zork has suggested on the other servers. It is on those servers where cooperation and team work are needed. We need a carrot. Not Vicious Orange Carrot. But a carrot, a reward, of some sort for teamwork. We have the stick so where is the reward?

OK...how about this:

--Zombies get a 10hp health increase each time they die.
--Zombies get a 30hp health increase if they cap flags (remember no humans on Axis)
--Zombies lose all accumulated health increases when Allies cap

Scary thought - typical human can kill 50+ Zombies, so if no flags are capped, a Zombie could have 500hp if the Allies don't bother cap flags

How much damage does a rifle headshot or MG do though? I mean some of those high-damaging weapons may offset that gradual health increase.

This sounds like a fun idea. Can the zombie speed increase too?

I just tried it about 30 minutes ago. Coming from a regular, I like how it gets a lil bit harder as it goes. People do seem to be up and moving a little bit more, but I was only on for about 15 minutes until I got a lil bored and went on server IX to go zombie and give people a hard time. I can spend more time on it for sure tomorrow since I probably wont have work. This kinda reminds me of the bleep test (aka pacer test) where it gets harder and harder and harder until people just pass out.

From one of the regulars, I love that you brought coop back. Nothing worse than wanting a good game and a camper spoils it, especially when there is few players at the time. Maybe they don't realize you get good points for capping. I'm a capper junkie. hmmm... maybe you should get more points for a 2 man cap? or the more you win a round you get higher points?

Howdy Creeper :)

I am still not 100% sure what the difference is in COOP.

You cannot join the Zombie team.
FF is off?
What am I missing?

Well i'm not 100% sure what the difference is in COOP either, but people do seem to help a little bit more. Maybe it's just the people i'm playing with at the time? IDK.

The Zombies get harder and harder and harder unless you cap flags.
It should get to a point where campers become overwhelmed.
