bots!!

Hi there everyone
I'm pretty new...no..new!!...to source..and seeing that the servers are very quiet (it's holiday season after all) I was wondering if maybe someone could add some bots as target practice for me :-) the maps are sort of familiar, but it's hard to get a feel for the game when there's no-one around to shoot at...especially since I sometimes get some "practice opportunity" very early morning while my baby's still sleeping :-)

I wish it was possible Kate. Mr. Powder told me that bots are N/A for source. Maybe someday Foxbots:S will come out.

As l3eeron says, there are no bots at all for DoD:S.
Counterstrike Source has bots but they're made by Turtle Rock, not Valve. People have been pleading with TR for the past year to try and get them to add intelligent bots.

I say intelligent coz DoD:S has bots built in but they are so pointless because they just stand there. There are commands to get them to mimic you but that's it.

Apparently bots are harder in DoD:S because some weapons require proning.....:eh:

Anyway, if you go to the www.steampowered.com forums and find the DoD:S forum, you'll see a big sticky on Bots!

In the meantime, you'll just have to use me to practice on....:shock:
