Re: Fav weapon
Rep and I were discussing this the other night. There's a kind of a "graduation" process!
Most new players pick up a Thompson, MG or sniper rifle at the start - easy to handle. A lot of the snipers never change to anything else and that's all they ever play.
Then after a while, they graduate on to the BAR or STG44. Easier to run with than a MG. Pack more punch than a Thompson/MP40.
Having spent a while on BARs etc, they then graduate on to the KAR or Garand! One or two shot kills. Requiring a high degree of control.
Of course, this is very general, but it is certainly my experience. I used a MG for a long time (please forgive me!), have had fun with the BAR and now I'm learning the KAR!

I love my K98, and the Garand, and the Enfield.
If its not those one hit wonders, I go BAR and Folding Carbine a lot.
Oh, cant forget the bazooka!

I hear what your saying Dog
but I started with the BAR and thats all I played for the longest time and the KAR now and then. But alas the Sniper rifle has become my crack and I can't seem to break the habit.

Re: Fav weapon
Actually i dont remember what the first weapon i tried was. Odds are it was sniper or mp40/tompson. From my playing style, odds are i switched classes alot like i do nowadays.

Re: Fav weapon
I play with pretty much anything, love the one shot cannons but sometimes prefer the smg's. It usually depends on the map being played and the current situation. But shovel has gotta be my favourite, isn't that right JD?
