I've been away for about a week.. just kinda doing other things. My new computer came on Wednesday, and I've been fighting Vista ever since. As it stands, just today I got my sound and microphone working.

Only downside is that I keep getting distracted by how freakin' shiny everything is now.

Soooo...freakin'....gorgeous.

I would have gone with a 1Gps wired LAN, coz wireless is still too slow for my liking.

wireless is way to slow. I'm kinda stuck on it cause I don't have much money, and the cable company is small and not very reliable where I'm going to college. Impossible to play TF2 on weekdays(which is why people don't see me on on weekdays) In WoW my ping can be anywhere from 1100-12000(you want it around <120...) cause there's so many hicks on it on any given day.

Also on vista on my laptop. If you go into control panel, don't remember where else maybe user accounts, and turn off like administrative controls it really fixes some things(was getting asked if I wanted to open a program when i clicked on it) turned it off and ended all my internet problems on my vista.

I have a wired connection here at the house, but when I LAN up with my friends, we use a wireless router.

I've fixed all of my problems with vista (Clearly, since you were able to hear me speaking to you in-game. ) No networking issues, no sound issues.. Nada. I'm lovin' this thing.
