Only one time in MeleeMania history we did not use any alternates. If you're in the first couple spots you are in good shape to play as long as you just show up.

Even if you are low on the alternate list come watch anyway! Lots of shenanigans happen and people tend to give stuff away too.

I also want to reiterate that bracket selection is random. If you sign up and do not get to play you will have a better chance the next time you sign up.
