Ha ha, they both came back and played with me today. Even Renegade played with me to. This shows how little I know. TF2 is not dead yet. I do think Valve needs to crank out more maps though, and soon to keep interest up.
This is why I put a lot of support behind the map making community. Honestly, they are the ones who will decide the longevity of the game. After seeing the beautiful map known as Broma, I am confident in their abilities.
I know, I have talked to several people that I thought jumped ship, but are just taking a break from the game.
TF2 a Dying Game?
Re: TF2 a Dying Game?
TF2 dying ???
Hardly !
I was going to post several reasons but it looks like just about everyone who has already posted, touched upon them all.
TF2 is fine ! Don't worry.

Ville Awards
As long as TF2 is at the ville I'll play it.
Seriously once you find a good online community the game itself isn't as important.
However when Natural Selection 2 and Fallout 3 come out, TF2 won't get as much attention as it does now
Also, more maps would be nice.
A few custom ones on 7 would be nice, I have a poor ping over on 4
