Ok, just to give you guys a little info about the map since there was a question asking such.
- gas = ofcourse
- gasmasks = ofcourse (you are also safe under water or in the chamber
- spotlights in the yard - ofcourse
- touching the enemy spawnroom beams sends your ass to jail (a teammate or enemy can release you by touching the jailcell door)
- intel is behind the bookshelf in the warden's office if you are confused (just touch the bookshelf and it opens)
- I gave this map a mood to set the tone ( rain, thunder, lightning strikes in the yard)
- you can still blow a hole into the yard (since Valve didnt make class specific filters for TF2, anyone can do it. Its just 2000 hp)
- There is still a way into the shower room through the tunnels (you will need to jump to open the entry to the shower room if you are coming from the tunnels)
- The Gman may be watching over you, can you spot him?
- run over the soap in the shower room if you wanna have a laugh lol.
- Note to all players....There are not enough gasmasks for everyone haha
- Im maxed out for this map when it comes to adding more models or other entities
- Im 14% away from being maxed out on adding any more brushwork.
- This means I had to cutback on some things that made the map look better, like better lighting inside the buildings.
There you have it. The ins and outs of this map. Supposedly, the word on the street is that it plays great between 14 and 32 players.

Re: rock2_b1
We played it for about an hour tonight, it is very stalematey and I honestly don't know how you would fix that because its not like you can resize an entire map. There are just too many rooms whether or not it holds true to the original you still want to make sure a map is playable with a new system. I know I won't vote for it unless lazytown and another worse map are options. Its not that it isn't well done or bad looking, I just hate maps that stalemate all the time and/or are almost impossible to cap on with 2 teams that know what they are doing.

[/quote]Was there any caps? If it was 1 to 0 then I dont consider that a stalemate. According to Valve's system is seems to be but its not supposed to be easy to cap.
Stalematey isnt a good reason to not like a map. For example, me and 2 of my friends can join a server playing warpath and if on the same team can win it fairly easily, but alot of players call it stalematey.
Also, did teams manage to use all the routes to their advantage? Just trying to get more info

Re: rock2_b1
I, for one, liked this map. It was very well done. Kudos, Sacrifist, on a great job. It's especially fun when you see everyone scrambling for masks, then seeing everyone die who didn't get one.

Re: rock2_b1
Well the very first round when teams were sorta imba and it was like 5v5 there were caps but once it got to 12v12 there was nothing even close to a cap. The last two rounds ended 0-0 and even sudden death ended as a stalemate. I for one was making sure I entered the enemies gas room through the grate, I destroyed the rock to enter the courtyard (was usually always a bad idea), I even would go through their front door.
You have this huge expansive map but then the intelligence is tucked in this really small room. All the team has to do is have 3 engineers with 1 gun in the courtyard well placed, and 2 covering the intelligence and its impossible for the other team. If you don't die crossing the map which occurs quite frequently then you have sentries to deal with. Assuming you have an uber you can maybe take out one sentry but not 2-3. Then by the time you even start working on the sentries the entire enemy team knows you are there and since their spawn is right there you are toast.
I am not trying to be pessimistic about the map on purpose but like I said it may have worked for TFC with concussion grenades or whatever to help you jump all over the place but as it stands now a few well placed sentries in combination with the large trek you have to make across the map just makes it really tough. Even some of the more stalematey capture the flag type maps at least get one cap but we went 2 almost 30 minute rounds without a cap.

I like it. It's an excellent remake of the original. As far as stalemates, I remember the original was the same way pretty much. One thing I would suggest is to add a way to re-seal the tunnels like there was in TFC. Anyway, excellent work on the map!
