No I run TF2 and watch the demo with fraps recording in the background. Fraps produces the file that I can edit in other programs. You could playback a demo in TF2 and run a Twitch stream to record as well I think but I haven't played around with streaming.


And the downside of using demo files is you can't change perspective. The video is locked to your personal FOV. I think you need access to the STV file from the server admin to play around with changing camera angles or switching from one player to another.
