Just plan a day, time, and server and I'll be there if I can. I can set up a server with most of those requirements (not sure if timers can be disabled). And I'll just echo what diarmad said about the server. I won't be offended if you don't use my server.

I'm not sure what kind of schedule you guys are looking at, but in case I cannot join you to test......

I would like you guys to look at what buildings on what maps can be rocket jumped to..... for example I know that on grainery you can get on top of Capture Point B's building with scout or soldier.

I've also noticed that there are lots of places that a demoman can bounce in grenades over and around buildings. (helpful when taking out areas that are bottlenecked or have lots of sentrys.

I've also noticed that rockets will do area damage when firing underneath a ledge to a sentry or dispenser (think of the typical spots for sentries on 2fort). I actually had someone on another server get mad at me for coming up with a way of taking out his nicely placed sentry, :D ).

Easiest way to test for buildings roofs etc is to start a "listen" server on your own machine. THen you'll have the entire map to yourself and you can bounce around all you want!

The way I see it, the rocket's splash damage going through the walls and ceilings is a glitch. I dont support use of this exploit and will not allow it to occur on our servers.

Sorry beeron, I didn't mean rockets thru walls and ceilings..... I was trying to describe when sentries are on top of thin ledges, like in the 2fort courtyard or see thru grates. From what I've seen the splash damage does not go through solid walls.

If this is not an accpeted practice, then rest assured I will no longer partake in it. :)

At any rate, I won't really be available until sometime next week. What nights are you people good for next week? We aught to collaborate a date and stick with that.

Evenings pretty much suck for me for the most part. Mornings are my big game time. :( however, if you post a time, I will try to be there. Or, if you need my server, I will make suer it's running at that time.

I would love to know about the difference between a Demoman's regular bottle versus his broken bottle.

And the whole uber vs train thing has me considering the whole immovable object versus unstoppable force riddle

I'm willing to help if I can. The next week or so is busy for me, but next week after 6 most every day I'm available.

See the thread regarding uber vs train. Train wins long story short.
