TheVille.org Twitch Broadcasts

Hey everyone -- hope all's well. So, I've recently become quite fascinated with Twitch and decided to set up a channel to stream my gameplay. Since 90% of the time I'm playing on a TheVille server I thought I'd share this with you all in case you're interested in checking it out:

I plan on streaming all of my longer gaming sessions; where I sit down with the intention of playing TF2 for a couple hours. The stream will feature many of you so hope it's cool and you enjoy! I do not plan on doing the webcam video thing at this time, but do plan on using my phone to have it where people can send chat messages via the website while I play...once it gets more viewers. In the long term, if a lot of people like it I can help raise money for TheVille servers by having a donation link. I already donate every once in a while anyway, so maybe this way it'll pay for itself.

I like it. Only problem so far is that the game sound drowns out your mic commentary.

Yeah I have a crappy desk mic. I can turn the game sounds down and the mic volume up next time. I'm just not a headset-person so I don't want to go that route. Or maybe I can invest in a new and better mic. I have a webcam with a better mic built in which I can also try.

What broadcast software are you using? If you're on OBS, you can adjust the output levels of your mic versus your other sounds. I used that for casting the Ville Cup, to help people hear me over the gunfire.
