Art.tf?
Art.tf?
Well, I had an idea of a website.
Basically a website where I guess you can request posters and stuff.
Just wondering if we have any artists, programmers, and such.
Just an idea for now.

If you're suggesting some kind of website where you can sell posters and other such merchandise with TF2 intellectual property on it, then Valve's lawyers may be end up having a stern word with you.

I didn't see it that way, but maybe that was flyte's intention. I saw it more as like the images Sparky has been doing, but I guess on a larger scale?TheCarpe wrote:If you're suggesting some kind of website where you can sell posters and other such merchandise with TF2 intellectual property on it, then Valve's lawyers may be end up having a stern word with you.

Well, he said "commission for posters". I generally consider posters a physical item and "commission" generally means paying for them.

Re: Art.tf?
Do you mean something like deviantart when it comes to art in Tf2, or trying to make a profit off drawing/art the villuns created?

Re: Art.tf?
Just to be clear, Flyte never said "commissions" ... that was InBOUND. Pay attention to the details!
It sounds to me like he's asking for something like what Sparky has done - just a way to request art to be made, but as a bigger, multi-person thing. I'd be for it.
