Alright, after several months of messing with my account on and off I finally called support. The guy was like don't worry, this happens all the time and we'll get it fixed in a few minutes. So I can now log into SOE again, and I even have 2 bucks worth of points on my account.

I've played a bit of NC on the west coast servers. But I'm getting the "whole world turns invisible" glitch. Plus the game feels exceptionally laggy to me. *sigh* I had such high hopes too.

that bug is there #1 priority right now they said. They are experiencing a lot of growing pains in this first week. Hopefully things will improve

I'm TR as Badstreet on Jaeger. I love this game, even with all its flaws. Hundreds of people fighting for the same objective is pretty awesome, and if done right it looks spectacular.

It's more of a 'pay to explore' the character/vehicle/weapon combinations. As f2p, you really only get enough upgrades to explore one path. I suppose this will be beneficial once you know what you are doing since you can have multiple accounts.

Infantry is definitely not pay to win. Some vehicle things are pretty much pay to win at this point in the game's life (Rocket pods, a2a missiles, Lib cannons, tank secondaries)
