I'd rather keep some of my dignity.

Like all announcements made on the first of April, I consider this one false.

Yes, note the date of the post. In fact, I debunk ANYTHING that's considered cross-platform support with the Wii, Wii software is never implemented with anything besides itself and other Nintendo systems. To see them partnered with Blizzard of all people just says "fake" all over it.
Plus, read their controls, who's acctually going to want to make Z motions to electrocute things as a wizard?

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.

Ugh, you're right. This prank is hosted by the diablofans community. I checked the official post and it didn't exist. Don't know why I didn't check that right away, granted I just read Zork's April fools list.Alizée Fan wrote:Like all announcements made on the first of April, I consider this one false.
Anyways, I fail for it right away because D3 release date is a month and a half away and they haven't announced much for the console version yet with the exception that there will be one. In recent news Satoru Iwata been talking about how he is all about the gamers and shuns all these DLC shenanigins.
I don't care what console it goes out on, I want integrated online play.

Where Intergrated Online Play is concerned, PS3 is likely the best bet, since from what I understand, Playstation's online network, despite it's security flaws, is the easiest to work with. Microsoft and Xbox Live is fairly restricted from what I understand, and Nintendo doesn't do cross platform unless it's in their own systems.
That said, there are Xbox titles that are cross with PC, Final Fantasy 11 is across PC, PS2 (PS3 with correct software), and 360, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
