Star-Craft 2 Guest Passes

Post by BigBiker05 » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:55 pm

<Please only post here if you'd like a guest pass or are giving guest passes>

So Star-Craft 2 will come with 2 guest passes per box, each giving 7 hours of free play. So this will be an ongoing list for those who would like guest passes. Please only request one. If you ordered your game online or otherwise are waiting for it to be shipped, feel free to request a guest pass but once you get your copy of the game it is suggested that you return the favor through this thread. Also, if you someone get multiple guest passes via this thread, please be courteous and forward the extras to the next people in the thread. After giving/receiving a guest pass please make note as a reply in this thread to avoid giving out doubles.

I will be picking up my copy at midnight PDT and will be giving out both of my guest passes on here. Thanks for your participation.

I'd like to give it a shot if the other is not spoken for yet.

Do you know if the digital copy buyers received guest passes? Because I have no idea.

Just to share this useful bit of information, use the 7 hour free time to play when you want to play online vs other people, otherwise don't login and just "Play as Guest" you don't log in at the login screen but on the right side there is the Play as Guest option and it allows you to do the campaigns or vs AI in an offline mode, no achievement points or such, but will help save your 7 hours for playing with friends :)
The guest profiles are for playing offline. My girlfriend finished the whole single player campaign with it. Save files are stored locally on the PC too so the "guest" can just quit and resume anytime. Anyone who wishes to play the campaign and doesn't care about multiplayer or achievements can just borrow the SC DVD, install the game on their PC and play all they want.

If someone has one left, I would be gracious if you gave it to me. :)

I'll take one if any are available. Despite being Korean, I never played SC.

Anyone have another? I'm kinda on-the-fence about the game. From what I hear the single-player campaign is pretty long compared to others, but still finite, and the whole point of this is multiplayer. However, I'm not Korean so I can't micro 12 units at once, so I'm thinking I'd get rolled over and over.

I would, but I don't think the digital copy game with guest passes..
As for the micro.. I'm not korean and I feel I can micro some. At least enough for normal, non-professional matches :P
