The biggest issue I have is that the game is constantly accessing the HDD. My gaming HDD has been overheating because of it and causing windows to BSOD to prevent damage.

I fixed it by removing my lower HDD cage from my case so the hot air can directly convect away from the drive. Luckily my cables are long enough to accomodate this course of action.

Might mean that you're having to go to your page file too much. How much memory are you running in your system?

4 gigs physically present, 3.x gigs utilized (32bit OS).

Gamebryo is notorious for hard drive use.

Heads up guys, the game ends once you finish the finale. So when you get the warning you might want to do a save before continueing so you can go back and play around more or do side missions.

I ended up just a sliver under lvl 30 so now I don't get that achievement. Oh well, time to start again!!! Lets go fist weapons and explosives!

I did most, if not all the side stuff I could find before finishing.. actually, I tried to do all the side stuff I had before doing any main stuff all the way through (although it usually leads to even more side stuff). Anyway, I hit lvl 30 well before the end, but I didn't get the achievement for it... not sure why, but it's a bit annoying. Hopefully my second character will get it.

Because Ixtab won't post it himself, I'm going to post this for him :P

He made a house mod.
It is spiffy.

Yeah, was anyone else bummed out on the housing in this game? What, a few safe houses and the suites? Then only the 38 had an upgrade machine and it was crap.

Also, if anyone is still having fps inconsistency hit me up. There is a fix online that works.

Thanks, Roirdan. I did put a lot of work into that house.

And yeah, I made it becasue the housing was kind of a let-down. I guess, overall, there was more housing available than the two places you could get in FO3, but the hotel rooms in FONV are just really... meh. And the upgrades are pretty meh as well... oh, by the way, apparently two of the chests (the ones beside the workbench) than you can get with an upgrade aren't safe to store stuff too. So be careful, unless you have a mod that fixes it, or you use another home.
