So the first car design I did was just because I was bored - the preorder car has better stats than the usual novice car, so I never used it. But it's based on a UK police car:

This might be the dumbest thing I could possibly do just before heading back to school, but I just pre-ordered the game, and will be joining ya'll as an Enforcer on Zombie in the near future. I should be playing under the name Keplar, which is my MMO handle of choice.

I'm at work right now, hoping my download is going well. I set it to go when I left for work, and it said it would take more than a day to pull down all the files. I'm hoping it sped up a little bit while I'm here, so I can come home to a new game tonight Who knows though - my DL speed fluctuates so wildly, and I'm sure their servers are getting hit right now.

Well I have 18 whole minutes of action district time to use up tonight after work! If either of you need any help, I'll do what I can!

Then I'm stuck in the Social district til tomorrow.


Did have a rather great mission last night. Was a standard "pick up X, drop at Y" type thing when suddenly a team of 4 opposed me, so I called for back up.

Think it ended up being around a 6 on 6 battle. They managed to take the object and camp with it up on a roof, so while the rest of my team was charging in, I deployed a sniper rifle from my mobile supply thing, found a handy elevated point where I could see them and let rip...turned out they didn't bring any long range rifles with them.
Just as we won the mission, I ended up with an APB against me!
Good times.

I'd never have purchased the game if the general Ville consensus was to be criminals. That's way too predictable, everybody wants to be a crim, blah blah blah. The first time I heard about this game, I discarded it out of hand because I figured everybody would be criminals, and it would be a lot of l337 kiddies running around thinking they're hardcore. When I saw that we had a core of rocking good mature folks here all going enforcer, it was an instant reversal for me. I look forward to crushing the criminals, and all who associate with them! Bwah ha ha.

Hehe, I was actually just reading that thread. I guess Comcast gets to live, it appears RTW's the culprit in the bad D/L speed. This time.

Found a slightly better D/L by forcing the host IP - now down to just 13 hours D/L remaining, instead of 20.
