It definitely has the old school VGA palette look about it. I would recommend playing the original Flash one before deciding if you want to spend $3.99.

I remember playing Oregon trail back as a kid in school on a Apple II pc. The game was considered educational but we mostly just did the hunting part over and over. I've done the flash version of Organ Trail before, fun nostalgic game play, good for at least one run through.

I have this on my phone (android) it's quite fun and tickles that Oregon Trail itch. Not sure how it will as a full PC game, but as a mobile game it's great.
