Anyone else pre-ordered this?
They just started up a steam beta apparently.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
I was thinking of it.
I've owned it on Impulse since it came out. Looks as though i can get the Rebellion version (without requiring the previous expansions) on Steam with a discount if i preorder through their website. Since they have it registered that i already own the previous versions.
There's just no firm confirmation on that and i don't want to fork over 30 bucks and then have to buy Trinity ontop when i've already paid for it.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
I bought it off of impulse to get the $10 off for owning trinity, and they just sent me a CD key for the Steam Beta.
They also said steam is required so I think it's going to be a steam game regardless where you buy it.
[edit] I am now attempting to use my Trinity Key to "activate a product on steam"
[edit2] That didn't work.

Yeah i know i'll never be able to play any of the previous expansions in Steam but as long as i can play the latest i'm fine. I'm over the previous ones, too easy to game, even on hard. Plus i detest gamestop.

Re: Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
Rebellion includes Diplomacy and Entrenchment, or at least the added units and tech-tree stuff, so there's not much use in the older expansions anyway.
