I'm not sure, normally there's a pop up that shows up when you log into steam notifying that you received a gift. When I checked its status under the "games/manage gifts and guest passes" tab it shows that it was sent but not redeemed. I sent it using the "send directly through steam" option and it wont let me resend it that way because it now says you already own it. If you don't see it in your games library and didn't receive an email with an install link I can resend it but I have to do it by manually typing in your email. If you need me to do it that way just PM me your email address and I will do so.

If anyone else wants this game I still have 3 copies left to gift.

How will I know whether my friend has received their gift?

To check the status of your gift purchase, click on "Games" in the main menu in Steam, then select "Manage gifts and guest passes..." Once your friend has redeemed their gift in Steam, your gift's status will change from "Sent" to "Redeemed."

Resending a Gift or Guest Pass

If your intended recipient did not receive your gift or guest pass invitation, you may resend it by going to Steam's Games > Manage gifts & guest passes... menu.

You may select a friend from your Friends list, or enter a new email to send the subscription.

If none of those work, I would try looking through the Steam Gift Page yourself.
