...and there are plenty of good ones!
Steam's got a "Give and Get" Sale where bulk packs of games seem to be the theme. Games updating daily, and they've got a contest where 30 people a day are winning games from their wishlists.
Even more interestingly, Direct2Drive is doing a huge promotion until the end of the year where one in every five orders placed on the site (Not just yours, but everyones) is free. Odds pretty good there, and it'll be enough for me to take a look at their catalog and see if there are any games it has that Steam doesn't and pick them up *coughNeedforSpeedcough*

Also, some other sites to check out. I haven't used any of these but I guess they're just like any other.

Re: 'Tis the Season for Sales....
So it seems that all the valve package deals have been leaked. I have not been able to find a real source so the accuracy may be pretty bad.

Will update if I can find a better source. So far the post have been accurate. Some leakage of the forthcoming Valve deals
These Indie Packs, if the same price as the previous 2, will be £3.99 each:
Indie Air Pack: Altitude, DogFighter, Flotilla, Gratuitous Space Battles, Plain Sight
Indie Clever Pack: Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time, Eufloria, Iron Grip: Warlord, VVVVVV, World of Goo
Indie Pulse Pack: Audiosurf, Beat Hazard, Bit Trip Beat, The Polynomial, Rhythm Zone
Indie Puzzle Pack: Cogs, Droplitz, Puzzle Dimension, Shatter, Tidalis
Multipacks (no idea on the discount):
Aliens Vs Predator2010 6 pack
Braid 10-pack
Empire: Total War 6-pack
Freedom Force 10-pack
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City 6-pack
Just Cause 2 8-pack
Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West 10-pack
Mount & Blade: Warband 6-pack
Nyxquest: Kindred Spirits 10-pack
Osmos 12-pack
Portal 6-pack
Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale 8 pack
Red Faction: Guerilla 8-pack
Splinter Cell: Conviction 6-pack
Trine 8-pack
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Chaos Rising 8-pack
World of Goo 12-pack
No word on the individual sale games, but the past few seem to have included two from the packs too. This assumes Valve don't decide any last minute changes.
