Dogfighter

Dogfighter is a very arcade-y flight combat game(think Mario Kart's battle mode but in planes crossed with Crimson Skies on the original XBOX but only the multi-player portion as this game has no single player campaign). I recently downloaded the demo and although it was fun it lacked joystick support. They've since done a huge update to the game and added more maps, planes, and joystick support. If you plan on trying the demo I'd recommend using either a joystick or a controller(I tried playing it with a 360 controller, joystick, and mouse/kb and it's definitely best with a stick but the controller was adequate. Using the mouse/kb was a challenge for me). FYI: To customize joystick controls in the options you have to un-check the "enable controller" box in the control settings which will change the 360 controller tab to joystick(took me a few minutes to figure out). Also the music started to drive me nuts after awhile but luckily it can be turned off in the options.

I only played a few matches of deathmatch and team deathmatch but it has multiple other game modes. It also has dedicated server support and the server I played on had no discernible lag even though the ping was around 120ms. Overall I had a good time with the demo and decided to buy the full game.

Is anyone else interested in this game?

ill give the demo a try, simply because no one plays Sturmovik so my joystick goes to waste playing singleplayer.
