Re: DayZ collaboration thread
The Arma 2 series is on my "to-install list," I''m willing to give it a shot! @Keyes, it's a zombie mod for Arma 2...so it's like a realistic, open-world zombie game. There are people who use teamwork to survive...as well as people who kill and rob other players to survive. Kotaku and some...

Re: Scary
I'm going with the aliens. Supreveio's right about aliens probably having weaknesses, but aliens would also be able to shoot back. Ghosts wouldn't be able to do that. What if it's a Civil War ghost who swore revenge against the man who slept with his wife and killed his brother? But he didn't know ...

Re: CPU and compatibility stuff
It's coming together, but I still don't have Windows 7 yet...and I still need the mounting for the SSD. I was a bit nervous earlier because it seemed like it was taking a lot of force for some of the parts to fit in (i.e. everything involved with the CPU), but after watching some videos online, I re...

Re: CPU and compatibility stuff
I think things are going smoothly. I can really only add in the PSU, HDD and CD/DVD drive. I have the motherboard, but Medic said it would be easier to install the CPU and CPU fan before I install the motherboard. The CPU should arrive early next week. I still need to get a copy of Windows 7...and I...

So far...assembly has been...amateurish.
I didn't think about my SSD being 2.5" and the bays being 3.5".

Ordered!
I'll be able to start building next week, but I'll have to wait to get Windows 7 before I can start it up...and I still need a new GPU before I start editing and gaming.

Re: Super Monday Night Combat
Had two good rounds today.
I topped the scoreboard as Leo and did pretty well as Assassin in another match. I also had a good round as Spark a few nights ago.
I even got a hat for the gorilla as a post-game prize.

Re: CPU and compatibility stuff
I was thinking about getting this motherboard . It seems like a good price, supports i7 (gen 2 and gen 3), has room for expansion and the red-orange trim looks cool. It also has good reviews (all seven of them) which is always a good thing. Also, while I understand the difference between PCI, PCI 2....
