Crosshair help please!!!

This is a screenshot from Source. If anyone can help me find a crosshair like this one, please do. I will greatly appreciate it and will be forever in you debt and you can gladly have all my points. I just want this little circle, preferably blue or red to use in 1.3 since it's working very well for me in source.

PS. My crosshair is in the middle of the white smokey area by the tank, it's a little red circle (just in case it's hard to find)

To use:

-Go to C:\Program Files\Steamapps\USERNAME\Day of Defeat\dod

-If its not allready there create a folder in the dod folder called "sprites"

-insert "customxhair.spr" into this folder

-It's location should look something like this

c:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\USERNAME\Day of Defeat\dod\sprites\customxhair.spr

-now while ingame hit the console "~"

-type the command "cl_xhair_style #"

-replace the # with a . . . err number from 1-16


Simple as that.

That file of x-hair sprites is for 1.3, right? I tried using it, and I get the crosshair with a large black box surrounding it.....not very useful.

Those crosshairs are for DoD1.3 which uses SPR files.

DoD:S uses VTF files, for materials and crosshairs.

yeah i use Reps Cross Hairs...

but yeah Kate the cross hairs wont save you, just bow to me now

thanks Dog, however, if i remember correctly i did try it, but it's like deslock says, it has a huge black box around it, which block out that part and makes it unusable during play

yeah.. some of them didn't get converted correctly.. the green ones are the default i made with acutally a few colors in it.

ok, here is the red pack i re-did for you.. after getting someone else to upload it..

and btw the old red crosshair pack is defective whoever is reading this that can remove it




if you want something a little more red than pink lemme know and i can adjust it

to change the hairs in case you didn't know or haven't seen yet its jsut cl_xhair_style # where the # ia 1-16 depening on what one you want to use and its set up like

5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
13 14 15 16

3 12 and 16 are all curcles you might wanna try out
