oh, we're talking liquor now?

Bourbon. Specifically, Woodford Reserve. On the rocks or with a splash of water.

Durango CO? dude, thats like the prettiest area of Colorado! Every time we travel out west, we always stay at the KOA campgrounds there by the river, gorgeous country man.

GO COLORADO!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!! If you can't get Fat Tire, i suggest you find way to get it. I know my parents have been gettin it for as long as i can remember here in Colorado. Another microbrew that i know is good is one called Old Chubb. Its only served in a can but my cousion drinks more than he probably should on occassion and he says its relly good. Ive had a couple cans of it, and i got a craving for it readin this thread. Its a Scotish Ale if you must kno....If you can find an Asian liquor store owner to say Old Chubb with a very strong accent, you will probably get a kick out of it.

If anyone comes out to Colorado, pick yourself up a 6-pack of it :P

OTHERWISE.... im within walking distance of Coors Brewery :P

I know exactly where you're talking about, muj. I lived right across the street from Purgatory ski resort (now called "Durango Ski Area" I'm told). I worked at Purg and Tamarron resort. It is, bar none, the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen.

Heh. My wife and I are heading out west again this summer, June 7-22. If we have time, I'm hoping to stop in Durango. We're mainly heading towards Yellowstone, hitting a few things in Wyoming and South Dakota along the way.

I just had to post a reply to this topic!
I was a professional brewmaster for many years and continue to brew on a regular basis at home on my personaly built brewery. What is my favorite beer? I get asked this all the time! I can't say I have a favorite. It depends on what mood I'm in and what time of year it is. I brew many beer styles. Here are some of my favorite styles: Pils, Munich Helles, I.P.A, Schwarzbier, Bitter, Altbier, Lambics and the list goes on. I usually have at least four beers on tap at all time! Here is what I have on right now: Munich Helles, Munich Dunkel, I.P.A (brewed with home grown Hops) and an English E.S.B. If anyone has any questions about beer, just ask! :D

Tickles,

Each keg is 5 gallons and lasts a month or so. My wife loves beer as well. I also host a Texas Holdem poker game every month, so we do go through some. If you ever get to San Antonio...

Guiness for a nice heavy smooth beer. Miller High Life when I'm cheap yet want a good beer. Haven't had too many kinds but I know to avoid Hieneken (Bleh tastes like crappy high life) and light beers (alcoholic water)
