Re: My first car
My first car was an old ford escort. That thing was terrible. I don't remember what broke but it just stopped going one day. So I stole my mom's camaro and never gave it back.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 to pull a triger. 8)

Re: My first car
*sigh*
1st car was a 1969 AMC Rambler. Had it for 7 1/2 year. Still miss it.
Was useful in keeping those luxury cars away from me on the highway....they thought I might scratch the paint!
2nd was a 1983 Ford mustang with a 3.8L V6. First 2 years I owned it were during my pizza delivery days. Much fun, unless it snowed.
Had that one for 11 years.
3rd was a 1996 Ford Taurus, and I would still have it, except the frame broke!
Repair would have been more that the car was worth.
Current vehicle is a 2002 Ford Windstar. My wife chose that one as she needs a vehicle for her daycare business.
Our secondary vehicle for the last 13 years is a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird. Think of the first words out of Luke Skywalker's mouth when he sees the Millennium Falcon for the first time!

Re: My first car
Well, since I am a student right now, I am technically still driving my first car. A 1991 Celica. No rust
but the clutch is wonky and downshifting to 3rd from 4th gear is like moving it through a pile of gravel. I hope one day to get a car that is the same year as a I got it and has under 100km on the odometer.
The first car I drove was 1983 Celica with 370,000km on it. We got rid of it not because it wouldn't run, but because the drivers seat became loose and would move around when you drove. This made it very unsafe and we could only hold it down with a well-placed screwdriver. Also, the seatbelt was finicky and would rarely tighten when need be.

My first care was a 1991 diesel Jetta, I loved that car, to bad I totalled it.
Then I had a Jeep Cherokee with the awesome 4 liter. Soooo easy to work on, I had that forever. Heh, it even ran after I used JB Weld to stick my u-joints back together.
Right now I drive a '01 Jetta, its a pretty alright car, and will stick with it until there is a better hybrid or electric car out there.

My first car was 1973 Mustang. It would smoke the tires in first and second gear. I loved it till I had to start buying my own tires. That kinda took the fun right out of it.
