Silly question

How does one retrieve screen shots of a Windows XP Pro desktop? I've hit the "prt Scrn" button and cannot figure out where the darn screenies go to :(

print screen copies it to clipboard like tickles said. Easiest thing to do at that point is to just go in windows paint (start->programs->accessories->paint) and paste it there. Save it as a JPG file instead of bmp.

A handy trick is Alt and Print Screen. That takes a shot of the active window, instead of the whole screen.

If you're taking shots of TF2 gameplay in particular, mash F5 to make it go. Print Screen only holds one screenshot at a time, and so you need to paste it somewhere before you can take another one. ANY Image editing program will do - even Paint.

If you want a better screen capture program for Windows and just capture a section, get this free prog:

http://wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm

This will allow you to press a key, draw a rectangle around an area, and then send it to your favorite graphics program...
