Found a skelly spawner near spawn. 94,27,-170 (X,Y,Z)

Easier way to get to it is via the chasm/mines at 97,33,-142

There may be a closer one, but I located a Sea Temple at around -2700, 350.

This is a bit over a km west of my home. I'm working on connecting my place to spawn via Nether, and after doing so will start work on linking the other way to get out to the temple. It's not especially close to any land, but there is an island about 200m east of it that should work for an initial jump point.

Any idea what's going on with the server? It was more or less constant crashing tonight. No matter if 12 people or 1 person was on. Microsoft? Mojang? our hosting company? Maybe it will be better tomorrow.

I'm seriously hoping it will improve, but as far as I can tell, HostHavoc (the hosting company) has been the one behind this trouble. Every time the server starts having issues or crashes, their website control panel also starts being non-responsive. Server returns, website panel returns.

I'm not sure what's going on with it, as I haven't seen any statements from them, but if it keeps up tonight I'll see if I can file a ticket and get some answers. Nothing else appears to be being affected.

Just connected the End portal and started building out a staging area. The path in the nether is yet to be complete, but if you'd like to check it out, the nether coordinates are x:-106 y:48 z:-214. From spawn, if you follow the smooth stone in the -x, -z direction, you will find a tunnel to the portal.

So.... question for the admins.
Is lowering the number of folks required to sleep a possible option? seems we still have a lot of disconnecting/reconnecting to check if we've swapped over.
(current setting is 50%, curious about maybe a 25% ? 10% )

I'm happy to hear a discussion about it since this is a brand new option that even lets us set it below 100%. Seems like we'd need to balance it so that if there are some folks who do not want the night to pass quickly, they can't be easily overridden by a small number who do.

I don't think I've ever run into the issue of someone who wants the night being overridden as they just say "hey can we not sleep" and then folks don't. I am in the camp that 1 person is all that should be needed to make it day with anyone mob hunting to ask for folks to not sleep, as those times are wayyyyyy in the minority compared to when folks are wanting the night to pass. I can see a claim of "that takes away some of the MPS challenge" but folks get around that by just logging off for others to sleep anyway, so there isn't much difference. My personal $0.02.

Agree. I think since Stoveville has been online only 1 request to not sleep has been made.
