Oooh, interesting. I played this when the initial release (I think maybe Early Access?) came out - no NPCs, no quests, just atmospherics and wolves. It was a very compelling and artistic take on the bleak vaguely post-apocalyptic survival game... and definitely a tough one! No hand-holding there.

Hope this new release is still good! Was just thinking about checking it out again recently.

No hand-holding is the best part of this game imo. I really enjoy it when devs let you figure out stuff on your own.

Yeah, it's definitely got a "tough love" approach to things, which makes the survival aspect feel all the more real! The first time I encountered a wolf, I remember thinking something akin to "I love wolves! I'm going to follow and watch it."

When I got done picking my trachea up out of the snow after respawn, I decided maybe I would respect the wolves' personal space a bit more :-D :-D
